Possess a pure, kind and radiant heart!

As a new Baha'i, I was inspired by the teaching example of Martha Root.  They say that she made a point to give a gift to absolutely person she met.  The virtue of generosity opened hearts and opened doors, and made her the greatest teacher of the West.

So how do you find an affordable gift that absolutely everyone will appreciate?  Allow me to suggest one of our two solar-powered flashlights!  Men, women, children, Bahá’ís, friends, students, environmentalists, laborers, drivers, joggers, readers, seniors, EVERYONE uses flashlights, and unlike pens, they don’t usually have dozens lying around the house.

These are easy to carry, and provide an opportunity to talk about how we receive our spiritual energy from the Sun of the Holy Spirit, and then it is our hearts that absorb that spiritual potential and then send it back out into the world.

Just as our spiritual hearts are powered by the spiritual sun, the batteries in these high-powered LED lights are powered by the physical sun.  A few minutes of sunlight will provide hours of illumination every day for years, without changing batteries.

The "pure, kind and radiant heart" message is inspired by the first Hidden Word, yet it is something that people of all religions will resonate with.   The idea of radiance is reinforced by the single bright LED bulb in the tip.  Push-on, push-off button action means you can leave it on without holding the button down, making it practical for reading or as a safety light for joggers.  The heavy-duty clip can be used as a key ring, or to clip it to your belt loop, purse, back-pack, computer bag, or cell phone.

These are great appreciation or graduation gifts.

Also consider our blue rectangular light with three bulbs LT-3, or get 6 of each with LT-34.
